Focus 105 – SIPP set up – Tax year end deadline

Where an initial contribution is paid by cheque (payable to “Talbot & Muir SIPP re Client Initial and Surname”), our cut off date for an on-line application, receipted by us as correctly completed, and a signed declarations form and cheque, is Friday 31st March 2017.

Where contributions are paid by direct credit to the newly opened SIPP bank account, and subject to the same documentation set out above, the cut off date is Monday 27th March 2017.

Please note that If, for any reason, we are unable to successfully complete our online anti-money laundering checks we will have to contact you in order to obtain evidence of identity and address for the client.  As we would be unable to proceed with the application until we are in receipt of these documents it may save time if you forward these to us at the same time as sending the completed Declarations form.  Where the identity check is required on the client’s employer in anticipation of an employer contribution, as a minimum we will require a completed and signed Corporate IVC.
